I tried to build one myself but…then God took pity on me and sent Heather Nuffer to my aid! We needed something simple that wouldn't really do her web design skills justice but she jumped right in and voila!
I thought you'd enjoy seeing Heather in front of her delightfully fun Covid-Can Wall. I Love it! Heather has volunteered her time to get this up for us and I’m so grateful! (you didn’t see my first attempt!) She even spent three hours with me yesterday trying to teach me how to post my own blogs using Visual Studio. If you’re reading this now – you’ll know I’ve finally begun to recognize certain things in HTML and figured it out. Thankfully she’s agreed to “check my work” before anything goes live and I have my own branch of the code to work on so I don’t mess up her work. I’ll be honest – it’s a little intimidating – so be patient until I get the hang of it.
If you see anything amiss with the website – please place all blame on me. I am just learning and my first task was to learn to post a blog entry. Other things will have to wait. The main purpose of the website was to allow people to see the schedule and the blog for our 2025 trek. I’m sure if I turned Heather loose being the creative woman she is – you’d see a fabulous website with lots of bells and whistles. But we wanted something simple.
I was going to just share Kevin’s old blog as a pdf but she started to snazz it up as you’ll see. It’s over 300 pages long so … that may continue to be a work in progress.
Anyway – Heather is our second miracle. The first was finding our trailer. Special blessings on your head Heather Nuffer! Couldn’t have done it without you!!!!
