For April Fools Day, you may be surprised to find you have an ancestor on the Mormon Battalion Trail - if you start looking. Kevin got a surprise himself today as he found out his great great grandfather joined the church in Denmark and was on the Mormon Trail. He had been saying for years, he had no pioneer ancestors.
After almost 20 years thinking he didn't have anyone in his family who was on the Battalion Trail, he finally used the tool "Relative Finder" and discovered he actually DID have an ancestor who was in the Battalion. SIDE NOTE: One morning as we were at the gym exercising for the trek, we met the man who was responsible for this amazing tool. Kevin noticed his t-shirt with the Relative Finder logo printed on the front. Since the program was responsible for Kevin finding out about his ancestor being in the Battalion he had to go over and share the story with the man. It made Kevin's day!
